From the Heart of Brother Jesse – Tuesday, February 25, 2025 - "Whose Image Do You Bear?"

Dear Friends,

When Jesus held up a Roman denarius and asked, “Whose picture and title are stamped on it?” (Mark 12:16 NLT), He was revealing a truth far greater than taxation. The coin bore the image of Caesar, signifying that it belonged to the Roman government. But this leads to an even deeper question—Whose image do we bear?

Genesis 1:27 tells us that we are created in the image of God. That means our very lives belong to Him. Yet, how often do we allow the world to define us instead? Society tells us that our worth is found in wealth, power, or status, but Jesus reminds us that our identity is found in God alone.

Take a moment today to reflect on whose image you are reflecting. Are you living in a way that honors the One who created you? Or are you allowing the world to shape your identity? When we give to God what belongs to Him, we are not just offering money or service—we are offering our very lives. Let us bear His image with boldness, reflecting His love, truth, and holiness to the world.

In His service,
Brother Jesse
