Scripture: Luke 23:34 (NLT) – “Jesus said, ‘Father, forgive them, for they don’t know what they are doing.’”
Reflection
Jesus set the ultimate example of love and forgiveness when He prayed for those who crucified Him. If He could forgive in the midst of His suffering, how much more should we extend forgiveness to those who hurt us? Prayer changes our hearts—it replaces bitterness with compassion and resentment with peace.
Prayer
Lord, give me the strength to pray for those who have wronged me. Help me to see them as You do, with eyes of mercy and grace. Transform my heart so that I may reflect Your love in all circumstances. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Thought for the Day
Praying for your enemies does not change them first—it changes you.
