Study:
This study examines the tension between our own plans and God's will. In James 4, we are reminded that we cannot control the future, and that only God knows what lies ahead. We will reflect on the importance of humility in our planning and the necessity of surrendering our desires to God's greater purpose.
Reflection Questions:
- How do you react when your plans are disrupted by circumstances beyond your control?
- What can you learn from James 4 about humility in the planning process?
- How can you practice submitting your future to God?
Pray for humility in your planning, asking God to help you submit your future to His will. Ask Him to guide you through uncertain situations.
