Heavenly Father,
As we step into this new day, we thank You for the gift of life and the promise of Your hope. On this first Sunday of Advent, we pause to reflect on the hope that comes through the birth of Your Son, Jesus Christ. We acknowledge the darkness in the world around us, yet we are reminded that Your light is greater and has come to shine in our hearts.
Guide us today, Lord, to live in the fullness of this hope. Help us to trust in Your faithfulness, even when we cannot see the way forward. May Your hope overflow from our hearts, reaching out to those in need.
We pray for the strength to be a reflection of Your light in a world that longs for peace and salvation. Thank You, Father, for sending Jesus to be our hope. In His precious name, we pray, Amen.
