Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As we meditate on the peace of Christ, let us also reflect on the call to be peacemakers. In Matthew 5:9, Jesus tells us, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.” To be a peacemaker is to live out the very essence of Christ’s mission in the world—to bring reconciliation, to heal broken relationships, and to offer the peace that only Christ can give.
Peacemaking is not always easy. It requires humility, sacrifice, and sometimes the courage to go where others fear to tread. Yet, it is one of the most powerful ways we can reflect God’s love in the world. When we bring peace into situations of conflict, we show the world that Christ’s love transcends division.
Are there places in your life where God is calling you to be a peacemaker? It may be in your family, your workplace, or your community. The peace of Christ is meant to flow through us and bring transformation wherever we go.
Let us be intentional in spreading peace in all that we do, remembering that our lives are a testimony to the reconciling work of Jesus.
