O God Most High,
We thank You for this day and for the reminder of Your sovereignty over all creation. As we settle into the quiet of the night, we acknowledge that You, El Elyon, reign over the heavens and the earth. You are above all, and Your ways are perfect. We seek Your peace that comes from knowing we are in Your hands.
Lord, may Your peace surround us tonight and protect us from all fear. Help us to rest in the knowledge that You, the Most High God, are in control of all things. We trust in Your provision and Your guidance as we prepare for another day.
