Heavenly Father, Jehovah-Shalom, the Lord our Peace,
As this day comes to a close, we find rest in Your peace. We thank You for the hope that is ignited within us through this season of Advent. Lord, as we await the celebration of Your Son’s birth, we pray that You would fill our hearts with Your perfect peace. In the busyness of the season, let Your peace guard our hearts and minds, drawing us closer to You.
May Your presence calm any anxieties and grant us rest for our souls. We trust that You are in control, and Your peace surpasses all understanding. May it shine brightly in our lives, even in the midst of challenges, and may we be instruments of Your peace in this world.
We offer this prayer in the name of Your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
