Study
One of the most powerful aspects of Advent is the reminder that God is a God of promises. He promised a Savior, and Jesus is the fulfillment of that promise. In Christ, all of God’s promises find their fulfillment, and we, as His people, are called to respond with faith and trust in His promises.
This Advent season, take time to reflect on the promises of God—His promise to be with us, to redeem us, and to return for us. We can have hope because we know that God keeps His promises, and through Christ, every promise is affirmed.
Reflection Questions
- What promises of God bring you the most hope?
- How can you remind yourself of God’s promises throughout this season?
- How can you share the hope of God’s promises with others?
Thank God for the promises He has made, especially the promise of Christ. Ask Him to deepen your faith and trust in His Word.
