Letter from the Pastor: Friday, May 31, 2024 - Finding Strength and Courage

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As we come to the end of this week, I want to remind you of the strength and courage that we are called to embody as followers of Christ. Our Sunday message highlighted the incredible bravery of those who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom, and it is through their example that we find inspiration.

Joshua 1:9 reminds us, "This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go" (NLT). This powerful verse encourages us to face our challenges with faith and confidence, knowing that God is always with us.

In our daily lives, we encounter various trials and tribulations that test our faith and resilience. It is during these times that we must draw upon the strength and courage that God provides. By trusting in His promises and relying on His presence, we can overcome any obstacle.

Let us also remember that living a courageous life involves standing up for what is right, even when it is difficult. It means being a voice for the voiceless and extending a helping hand to those in need. By doing so, we honor the sacrifices of those who have gone before us and we live out our faith in a meaningful way.

May the Lord fill you with strength and courage as you face each day with unwavering faith.

In Christ's service,
Brother Jesse
