❤️ From the Heart of Brother Jesse – Tuesday, October 14, 2025 – Guarding Against Worldly Distractions

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Paul wept for those whose conduct revealed that they were enemies of the cross of Christ. He grieved because their hearts were set on earthly desires, their appetites ruled them, and they thought only of this life. How fitting a description this is of the world we live in today.

Everywhere we turn, distractions clamor for our attention—material possessions, personal ambitions, prideful achievements, and pleasures that fade as quickly as they come. These distractions can quietly pull us away from the cross and dull our spiritual focus.

We must guard our hearts diligently. To do so, we anchor ourselves in God’s Word, surround ourselves with faithful believers, and daily remind ourselves that this world is not our home. Our eyes must remain fixed on Christ, who alone can satisfy the deep hunger of our souls.

So, I say to you, “May the Lord strengthen your faith and use it for His glory, as you walk humbly in His presence.”
