Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Paul tells us that as citizens of Heaven, “we are eagerly waiting for [Jesus] to return as our Savior.” This eager waiting is not passive but active. It is not a matter of sitting idly, but of living faithfully with anticipation.
Every day we rise, we should remind ourselves that today could be the day our Lord returns. That truth should stir us to live with urgency—to share the Gospel, to love deeply, to forgive freely, and to serve humbly. Our anticipation should make us radiant with hope in a dark world.
Just as a bride eagerly prepares for her wedding day, so too must we prepare ourselves for the glorious return of Christ. May our hearts beat with expectancy, our hands be busy in His service, and our lives reflect the hope of His coming.
So, I say to you, “May the Lord strengthen your faith and use it for His glory, as you walk humbly in His presence.”
