Dear Friends,
Each morning, when I open my eyes, I’m reminded that today is a sacred gift — not something I’ve earned or deserved, but something lovingly placed in my hands by God. Too often, we rush into our days with mental checklists and anxious hearts, forgetting to pause and thank the Giver for the day itself.
Proverbs 27:1 teaches, “Don’t brag about tomorrow, since you don’t know what the day will bring.” The Lord graciously gives us today, not tomorrow. When we recognize that truth, we begin to see each sunrise as an invitation to live faithfully and purposefully.
Take a quiet moment this morning to thank God for the breath in your lungs, the opportunities before you, and the people around you. Each moment, however small, carries eternal significance when offered back to Him in gratitude and love.
Live today as though it were a holy gift — because it is.
