Dear Beloved in Christ,
Yesterday, we reflected on the truth that “The Lord is merciful and compassionate” (Psalm 145:8). Mercy is at the very heart of God’s nature. He spares us from the punishment our sins deserve and covers us with His grace.
There have been times in my own life when I resisted His call, and yet His mercy never failed me. Instead of casting me aside, He patiently lifted me up and set me back on His path. His mercy is new every morning, and it is a mercy that never runs dry.
As recipients of His mercy, we are called to extend that same mercy to others. Who in your life today needs forgiveness? Who needs to see the mercy of God through you? May we be people who forgive quickly and love deeply, reflecting the heart of our Lord.
So, I say to you, “May the Lord strengthen your faith and use it for His glory, as you walk humbly in His presence.”
