Letter from the Pastor: Saturday, June 29, 2024 - "The True Freedom: Independence from Sin"

Dear Beloved Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Warm greetings to you in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we approach the joyous celebration of Independence Day, I am excited to share with you a special message that I believe will deeply resonate with our hearts and spirits.

Tomorrow, on Sunday, June 30, 2024, we will explore the profound theme of "The True Freedom: Independence from Sin," based on the powerful words of our Savior in John 8:32, "And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free." This message will delve into the essence of true freedom, a freedom that transcends all earthly liberties and reaches into the very depths of our souls.

As we reflect on the significance of our nation's Independence Day, we will draw parallels between our national freedom and the spiritual freedom that Christ offers us. We will examine how Jesus, the embodiment of truth, liberates us from the bondage of sin and grants us a new life marked by righteousness and peace. This is a freedom that not only transforms our lives but also calls us to live responsibly, honoring God and serving others.

I invite you to join us for this important message and to meditate on the scriptures we will discuss, including John 14:6, Romans 8:1-2, and Galatians 5:1. Together, we will celebrate the true essence of freedom and the hope we have in Christ.

I also encourage you to share this message with your family, friends,
and anyone who might benefit from hearing about the liberating power of Christ's truth. Let us come together as a community, united in our gratitude for both our national and spiritual freedoms, and inspired to live out our faith with renewed purpose and commitment.

May the Lord bless you and keep you. I look forward to worshiping with you and exploring the depths of God's liberating truth.

In Christ’s service,
