Dear Beloved,
As we come to the end of this week’s reflection, I want to remind you of the call to live out unconditional love in all aspects of our lives. In 1 Corinthians 13:4-7, Paul describes love as patient, kind, and selfless. It does not keep a record of wrongs, nor does it seek its own benefit. This love is the love that Christ has shown us, and it is the love we are called to extend to others.
Living out unconditional love requires us to die to ourselves and put the needs of others above our own. It calls us to forgive when it is difficult, to serve when it is inconvenient, and to be kind even when others are unkind. This kind of love is a radical witness to the world, as it reflects the heart of Christ and His sacrificial love for all.
Take time today to reflect on how you can love unconditionally in your relationships. Ask God to fill your heart with His love and to help you extend it freely to those around you. Remember, it is through this love that others will know that we are His disciples.
With Christ’s love,
Brother Jesse
