Dear Friends,
What would you ask for if the Lord appeared to you in a dream and said, “Ask for anything, and I will give it to you”? Solomon was given that very opportunity, and instead of asking for riches, revenge, or long life, he asked for wisdom. That prayer—simple and sincere—changed the course of his life and nation.
It’s easy to be swept up in what the world says we should want. But wisdom reminds us to seek what truly matters—a heart that pleases God and lives according to His will.
I challenge you today to adopt Solomon’s prayer as your own:
“Lord, give me an understanding heart so that I may know the difference between right and wrong.”
God heard Solomon’s prayer, and He will hear yours. May we each seek wisdom—not for our glory, but to glorify the One who gives it.
Faithfully seeking,
Brother Jesse
