Bible Study for Saturday, November 23, 2024 – Living Out Our Freedom and Peace

Summary:
This study will focus on how we should live out the freedom and peace we’ve been given. As we close this week, we will reflect on how our gratitude for our freedom and peace should be seen in our actions. The freedom and peace we enjoy are not meant to be kept to ourselves but should flow outward into every aspect of our lives. We are called to serve others, live humbly, and share the love of Christ freely with those around us.

Bible Verses:

  • Galatians 5:13 – "You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love."
  • Matthew 5:9 – "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."
  • Philippians 2:3-4 – "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility value others above yourselves, not looking to your own interests but each of you to the interests of the others."
Questions:
  • How can we serve others humbly in the freedom we have in Christ?
  • What are some practical ways to be a peacemaker in your community or relationships?
  • How does living with peace and humility impact the way you interact with others?
  • What are some ways you can intentionally share God’s peace and freedom with someone in need?
Share Your Thoughts:
How do you plan to live out the freedom and peace you have in Christ? In what areas of your life can you serve others and promote peace? We encourage you to share your thoughts, experiences, or prayers with us. We’d love to hear from you!
