Dear Brothers and Sisters,
In our message on the third kernel, we considered the deep value of contentment. Contentment is not about having all that we desire but finding peace and joy in what we already have. It is about trusting that what God has provided is sufficient for today and resting in that assurance.
Our culture often tells us that happiness lies in having more, achieving more, or possessing the newest and best. Yet, true contentment transcends material things. It is rooted in our relationship with God, in knowing that He holds us and provides for us. Each kernel of corn the Pilgrims cherished was not just food; it was a powerful symbol of God’s provision and a reminder that their needs were met.
Today, let us pray for the gift of contentment, that we may live with grateful hearts and open hands. May we trust that our Heavenly Father knows our needs and faithfully meets them.
With Heartfelt Gratitude,
Brother Jesse
