Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As we begin this series on the "Five Kernels of Corn," I hope you have taken a moment to reflect on the lesson of the first kernel—Gratitude. Our God is a provider, and while we may not always be blessed with abundance, we are reminded that even the smallest provisions are evidence of His care. Just as the Pilgrims held fast to their five kernels, we too must find reasons to thank God, especially when times are tough.
Gratitude isn’t about the size of the blessing but about the heart that sees God’s hand in all things, big and small. Each day, as you rise and meet the challenges of life, may you carry this spirit of thanksgiving, acknowledging that our Father in Heaven is never far from us. The simplest of blessings are still blessings—let us honor Him by giving thanks continually.
With every step you take this week, remind yourself of the kernel of gratitude, and share it with others by reflecting on how God has provided for you, even in lean times.
In Christ’s love,
Brother Jesse
