New Year’s Eve often stirs a mixture of emotions—gratitude, regret, hope, and uncertainty all wrapped together. Some chapters we are glad to close; others we wish had ended differently. Yet no matter how this year has unfolded, one truth stands firm: God has been faithful through it all.
Trusting God does not mean pretending everything went well. It means acknowledging that even in what was difficult, God never stopped walking with us. He strengthened us when we did not think we could go on. He protected us in ways we may never fully see.
As the year comes to an end, let us close it not with fear or regret, but with trust—trust in a God who has carried us this far and will continue to do so.
