There is a powerful truth in 2 Corinthians 8:2, which speaks of believers who, despite their hardships, gave generously:
"They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor, but they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity."

Even in times of trial, the act of giving is a declaration of faith—trusting that God will continue to provide. We have seen this faith lived out in the life of our young sister in Christ, who, despite facing an aggressive form of cancer, continues to trust in God's goodness.
