Bible Study for Monday, March 3, 2025 – The Testing of Faith

Opening Scripture: 1 Peter 1:6-7 (NLT)
"So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you must endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold."

Study:
Faith is not theoretical—it must be tested to be strengthened. Just as fire purifies gold, so trials refine our trust in God. Our young sister in Christ, facing cancer, is a living testimony to this truth. She continues to glorify God despite her suffering, proving that faith is not about comfort but commitment to God’s will.

Reflection Questions:
  • How do you respond when your faith is tested?
  • Why does God allow trials if He loves us?
  • How can our trials serve as a witness to others?
Prayer Focus:
Pray for endurance and wisdom in times of testing, and for the ability to reflect Christ through hardships.

Share Your Thoughts:
Encourage someone who is facing a trial by sharing a Scripture or personal story.
