Sunday Message - Praising Him with Song

There are times in our lives when we face problems that seem to consume us. We feel that there is no way to overcome them. When we feel that way, we need to remember the words of that wonderful hymn, "Amazing Grace" written by John Newton.

It is through God's grace that our fears are relieved. When we receive that wonderful, undeserved grace, we know that our Heavenly Father loved us so very much that He gave His precious son, Jesus, for our sins.

My favorite version of this wonderful, immortal hymn is this one sung by George Beverly Shea.

Amazing Grace

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me.
I once was lost but now I'm found,
Was blind, but now I see.

'twas Grace that taught,
my heart to fear.
And grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear,
the hour I first believed.
