As we prepare for the week ahead, let us remember the elements of a true prayer and use Daniel's example as a guide to help us focus on God and what He has and continues to do in our life.
Lord, as I go through the rest of the week, help me to stay focused on You and You alone. The stress of life and random thoughts not only has my mind wandering but also my heart. I pray for peace in my life and to stay focused on You as the center of my life. Let Your words flow through me and over me. Let me share with those who need Your words. Amen.
