As this day comes to an end, we thank You for Your steadfast love and faithfulness. We are grateful for the freedom we have in Christ and the guidance of Your Holy Spirit. Help us to live by the Spirit, as Galatians 5:16-17 instructs, and to resist the desires of our sinful nature.
Forgive us for any ways we have fallen short today. Fill our hearts with Your peace and help us to rest securely in Your care. May we wake up tomorrow with a deeper understanding of Your will and a stronger resolve to walk in Your ways.
In the name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
