As you celebrate the birth of our great nation today, please take time to reflect on its many achievements and those who worked so hard to mold our nation into "one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
Many years ago, the celebrated comedian, Red Skelton, in a brief yet poignant speech, summed up not only his feelings but also the feelings of an entire nation regarding how we should feel when we say the Pledge of Alliance. Listen careful to his words and truly think about them today and everyday.
