Prayers for the Persecuted - Asia Bibi

Asia Bibi, a Christian mother of five, has been on death row for nearly 8 years in Pakistan on archaic blasphemy charges for offering a Muslim coworker a glass of water. Her appeal has been delayed and delayed – never justice.

Her situation has been bleak, but we just received a glimmer of hope.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan’s Supreme Court has just announced that the Court will soon hear Asia Bibi’s appeal.

Imagine what it’s done to her children, as their mother has languished on death row for years, locked away from them, waiting for any news about her stagnate appeal.

Please pray for Asia's release and continue to pray for all those around the world who are persecuted for their faith.

1 Peter 4:12-14 New Living Translation (NLT)

12 Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. 13 Instead, be very glad—for these trials make you partners with Christ in his suffering, so that you will have the wonderful joy of seeing his glory when it is revealed to all the world.

14 If you are insulted because you bear the name of Christ, you will be blessed, for the glorious Spirit of God rests upon you.
