Every time I read the Declaration of Independence or the United State Constitution, I am so very thankful that I live in a free land where I can go where I please, speak freely and worship without fear. Earlier this week, I was selected for jury duty. It was an honor to represent my community and watch the justice system work. We have a legal system that allows people with grievances to come before a court and have a jury decide the outcome. I was proud to participate in our system.
So, as you celebrate with fireworks, BBQ, grill or just enjoy gathering with friends, please take a moment and thank our Heavenly Father for richly blessing our nation.
